The information generated by these cookies, such as time, place and frequency of your visits to our site, including your IP address, is transmitted to Google’s location in the US and stored there.

We use Google Analytics with an IP anonymization feature on our website. In doing so, Google abbreviates and thereby anonymizes your IP address before transferring it from member states of the European Union or signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Google will use this information to evaluate your usage of our site, to compile reports on website activity for us, and to provide other services related to website- and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if this is required by law or to the extent this data is processed by third parties on Google´s behalf.

If you enable this option, no information regarding your website visit is transmitted to Google Analytics. However, the activation does not prevent the transmission of information to us or to any other web analytics services we may use. For more information about the disabling option provided by Google, and how to enable this option, visit: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

If you visit our site through a mobile device (smartphone or tablet), you need to click this link instead to block Google Analytics tracking within this site in the future. If you delete the cookies in this browser, the opt-out cookie is also deleted, so you must click the link again.

If you've consented to Google linking your web and app browsing history to your Google account and using information from your Google account to personalize your ads, Google will use your data with Google Analytics data to create target group lists for cross-device remarketing. To do this, Google Analytics will initially track your Google-authenticated ID associated with your Google account (that’s your personally identifiable information) on our website. Afterwards, Google Analytics will temporarily link your ID with your Google Analytics data to optimize our target groups

If you do not agree to this, you can opt-out through the "My Account" section of your Google account.

Newsletter via Newsletter2go

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify you as the owner of the e-mail address given and that you agree with the receipt of the newsletter. To ensure that the newsletter is correctly sent by us, we use the double-opt-in procedure. Using this, the potential recipient can then be included in a distribution list. Afterwards, the recipient receives a confirmation e-mail to legally confirm the application. Only when this confirmation is made, can the address be actively included in the distribution list. We use this data exclusively for the delivery of the requested information and offers.

Newsletter2Go is used as newsletter software. Your data will be transmitted to Newsletter2Go GmbH who is prohibited from selling and using your data for purposes other than sending newsletters. Newsletter2Go is a certified German provider, which was selected according to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation and the Federal Data Protection Act.

Further information can be found here: https://www.newsletter2go.de/informationen-newsletter-empfaenger/

The consent granted for the storage of data, the e-mail address and its use for sending the newsletter can be revoked at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter.

Data protection measures are always subject to technical renewal and, for this reason, we ask you to inform yourself about our data protection measures at regular intervals by viewing our privacy policy.

The newsletters contain a so-called "web-beacon", a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from the server of Newsletter2Go when the newsletter is opened. This call will initially collect technical information, such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and time of retrieval. This information is used to technically improve services based on specifications of target groups and their reading habits, using their call locations (only using nearby wireless mast locations) or access times. Statistical surveys also include determining if the newsletters will be opened, when they will be opened, and which links will be clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to individual newsletter recipients. However, it is neither our desire nor that of Newsletter2Go to observe individual users and these evaluations serve much more to recognize the reading habits of our users and to adapt our content to them or to send different content according to the interests of our users.

Facebook

The European Court of Justice (ECJ) has clarified that operators of a Facebook fan page are responsible for the data processing carried out there under data protection law. For the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BfDI), Andrea Voßhoff, the decision is a clear confirmation of the legal opinion of German data protection supervisory authorities: Once again, the ECJ has issued a ruling highlighting the important role of data protection. Especially in the increasingly digitized world there must not be the opportunity to evade data protection responsibility.

In its recent decision, the ECJ found that a fan page operator can share responsibility for the data processing processes on Facebook, even if he has virtually no possibility to influence them directly. The recognition of the joint responsibility of Facebook and a fan page operator makes it possible for visitors of a fan page to ensure the legal protection intended by the law.

Although the judgment is based on the prior legal situation prevailing before the Data Protection Regulations, the principle of shared responsibility as determined by the General Court is also applicable to the new law. The concrete effects of the ruling on further regulatory action will now be decided by the federal and state supervisory authorities in a timely manner.

A forwarding of the e-mail address to delivery services is not possible without consent.of this call, technical information, such as information on the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and time of the retrieval, are collected. This information is used to improve the technical services based on the technical data or the target groups and their reading behavior by means of their retrieval locations (which can be determined by means of the IP address) or the access times. Statistical surveys also include determining whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened, and which links are clicked. This information can be assigned to individual newsletter recipients for technical reasons. It is, however, neither our aim, nor that of Newsletter2Go, to observe individual users. The evaluations serve us much more to recognize the reading habits of our users and to adapt our content to them or to send different content according to the interests of our users.
